What is Reiki?

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that helps balance our energetic body and mind. Many times we focus on maintaining a healthy physical body, that we forget that our internal energetic body and mental wellbeing plays an important role in our overall health. Reiki is not bound by any form of religion, it operates within the laws of life force energy that is present everywhere.

One has to understand that the energy healing is not coming from the practitioner, but channeled through the practitioner from universal life-force energy. The conduit or practitioner is attuned to reiki energy from a reiki master that opens up the channels of emitting the energy. The energy comes through the practitioners crown chakra and out through the hands and on to the receiver. The receiver does not have to be physically present to receive the healing since energy travels through time and space. As a Reiki Master, I am able to make an energetic portal to transmit the energy to any location, or time (past or present) and on to the receiver or situation. For example, if you have an important event coming up (i.e. court, surgery, speech) where you'll need extra help from source, reiki energy can be programed to a specific date and time.

During a reiki session you will be asked to lay down close your eyes and relax. I will then draw a series of Japanese symbols in different locations of your aura to begin transmitting the energy towards you. As a seasoned practitioner I surrender my hands to spirit so the healing is tailored to your needs.You may see colors during the session, receive mental images, feel heat or cold in different areas of your body, sleep, or feel emotional. Everyone's experience is unique. The session will be a hands off experience with pure reiki energy emission.

Just like vehicles need maintenance to perform their best, our vessels also require internal maintenance.
